Universale:
The
University of Illinois Library sponsored a carousel horse to raise
money for the local United Way of Champaign County. As the only person
with an artistic background on the team, I produced a "creative vision"
drawing and did the body painting of the horse. There is a coffee table
book available with pictures of all the horses, and the horses will be
auctioned off in February 2005. To see the other carousel horses,

in the West: I
created a study guide for a geology field trip that will occur during
the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign's spring break 2005. This
specific study guide involves selecting resources that involve the
different issue of water in the western United States. This
cross-disciplinary topic includes resources that deal with:
engineering, environment, economics, ecology, geology, law, and

- Kahlil
Gibran: The
life of Kahlil Gibran (also known in the form of Jurbran Khalil
Jurbran) has impacted both the Arab world as well as other countries,
such as the United States. Most well known for his book, "The Prophet,"
Gibran uses words and artistry to articulate the world around him. The
purpose of the study guide is to promote both the work of Gibran as
well as the impact of his work on different societies. Created Fall
2004.

- Instructional Technologies Portfolio: All the work produced during my time as a Masters student in instructional design can be found on the school's server.
- Skin
Marking Practices of Ethnic Groups in Nigeria: an Annotated Bibliography: This
bibliography was created for my class called "bibliography of Africa."
It was completed in Dec. of 2004, and consisted of having to find 100
scholarly sources on a focused topic. Created Winter 2004.
- Learning
from Students: In
a class called Inquiry-based Learning, I and another student explored
the broad topic of education. The result is found at this website. I
mainly worked under the Sub-CIL named "The Trends of Education."
